This policy describes how Dans Networking collects, uses, and protects information in connection with its SMS alert notification program.
- Mobile number sharing
- No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent are never sold, rented, or shared with any third party. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

- Frequency varies and is event-driven. Recipients typically receive fewer than 20 messages per month.

Information collected
The SMS program collects only the mobile telephone number provided by the recipient, and the delivery status records returned by the mobile carrier. No other personal information is collected through this program.
How information is used
Mobile numbers are used solely to deliver automated infrastructure monitoring alerts to the person who provided the number. Delivery records are used to confirm that alerts were transmitted and to diagnose delivery failures.
Mobile numbers are not used for marketing, advertising, or promotional messaging of any kind.
How information is shared
Mobile numbers are transmitted to the licensed messaging provider used to deliver the messages, solely for the purpose of delivering them. No mobile information is shared with, sold to, rented to, or otherwise disclosed to any other third party for any purpose.
Information may be disclosed where required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process.
Retention
Mobile numbers are retained only while the recipient remains subscribed to alerts. When a recipient opts out or their number is removed from the alerting configuration, the number is deleted. Opt-out records are retained as required to honor the request.
Security
Mobile numbers are stored in access-restricted configuration on systems controlled by Dans Networking. Access is limited to personnel who administer the alerting system.
Your choices
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for support information. To request deletion of your information, contact info@dansnetworking.com.
Children
This program is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 years of age.
Changes to this policy
