How to sign up

Enroll at dansnetworking.com/signup.html. Enter the mobile number you want alerts sent to, then check the consent box agreeing to receive recurring automated alert messages at that number. The box is unchecked by default and enrollment does not proceed without it.

Who receives these messages

Recipients are people responsible for the infrastructure being monitored — the system operator, personnel they authorize, and clients of Dans Networking who ask to be alerted about their own systems. Only the owner or authorized user of a mobile number may enroll that number. No marketing or promotional messages are sent to anyone through this program.

What the messages contain

Each message reports the status of monitored infrastructure. Typical alerts include storage array health changes, server or service availability, backup job outcomes, hardware temperature thresholds, and recovery confirmations. Messages identify the sender and include opt-out instructions.

How consent is obtained

Consent is captured on the signup form. The recipient enters their own mobile number and checks a box — unchecked by default — that reads: “I agree to receive recurring automated infrastructure alert text messages from Dans Networking at the number provided. I confirm I am the owner or authorized user of this number. Message frequency varies and is event-driven. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.” Consent to receive these messages is not a condition of any purchase.

Mobile numbers are never purchased, rented, obtained from third parties, or added to this program by anyone other than the number's owner.

Recipients who have previously opted out may re-subscribe at any time by replying START, YES, or UNSTOP to the sending number.

How to stop receiving messages

Reply STOP to any message from this program. Opt-out is processed immediately and no further messages will be sent. A recipient may also have their number removed from the alerting configuration directly.
